At Fuse Energy, our mission is simple but ambitious: to power the world with abundant, low-carbon energy.
We’re passionate about renewables—but also honest about the challenges. Because solar and wind are intermittent, it’s not yet possible to meet electricity demand every hour solely from renewable sources. Many energy companies purchase certificates (like REGOs) to claim they're "100% green," even though the physical energy powering homes may come from non-renewable sources. We believe that’s misleading.
Instead, we do things differently.
We sell our renewable certificates and reinvest every penny into building more clean energy infrastructure and pioneering technologies like green hydrogen—where sunlight is converted into hydrogen that could one day flow through the gas grid. Imagine cooking with hydrogen made from sunshine, without changing a thing in your home.
We focus on real-world impact, not greenwashing.
In this period, Fuse Energy generated 18.9 GWh of electricity from our solar and wind farms—enough to power 7000 homes.
The energy used from the grid during this period resulted in 2469g CO₂ per kWh, and 0.006 / kWh of high-level radioactive waste.
Why isn’t our regulated fuel mix listed as 100% renewable?
Because we choose transparency over marketing. While we receive renewable certificates, we reinvest them to build more clean energy—not to boost our stats. Our fuel mix reflects this choice. We believe that real progress—not paper certificates—will drive the energy transition.
