Fuse Energy's customer support agent already resolves four in five chats without human intervention, with 99% customer satisfaction. By bringing the compute behind it in-house, AI should be able to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
It's the same vertically integrated approach that has defined how we work since 2022. Using this model, we're already 17% more efficient than incumbent energy companies, and "now we're betting our AI future on that same principle" - CEO Alan Chang.
The reason is simple. We're scaling fast, and we want to run AI on our own terms, on infrastructure we control. We want to run the whole chain ourselves, from solar and wind generation through to trading and direct supply.
The customer support agent is shifting from a closed-source model to open-weight models running on our own systems.
Santhosh Gopinath, Managing Director of Energy & Utilities EMEA at NVIDIA reports: "By combining that deep energy expertise with NVIDIA's accelerated computing and open-weight models, Fuse is building intelligence into the foundations of its operations, from customer-facing agents to complex decisions around demand, renewable output and market volatility."
It's the first live use case in a collaboration that will see Fuse run our current and future AI workloads on NVIDIA as our compute provider of choice.
The mission hasn't changed. As Fuse CEO, Alan Chang puts it, "we're tackling the problems incumbents have failed to solve for decades and directly translating that into better value for our customers".
On the Fuse app, customers can get faster and more accurate answers with NVIDIA powered support, at any time.
